Model Train Stuff-Distributor of model railroad items, usually at a discount.
Mr. DCC University-Tutorials, articles, help, and general knowledge on DCC systems, wiring, and programming.
Sergent Engineering-Manufacturer of highly realistic couplers for HO and O scale operations.

Tourist Lines and Museums
Some of out favorite railroad museums and tourist railroads.
Heber Valley Railroad-Historic railroad offering train rides in Heber Valley and Provo Canyon.  Features include historic equipment and scenic, themed train rides.
Hobo Railroad and Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad-Two scenic railroads in New Hampshire's white mountains and lakes region.  Features include scenic train rides and historic equipment.
Nevada Northern Railway-A functioning railroad museum operating on the old tracks of the Nevada Northern Railway Company, out of Ely, NV.  Features include working steam locomotives, train rides, and a guest engineer program.
Rocky Mountaineer-Offering rail trips and organized rail tours in the Canadian Rockies and British Columbia.
Royal Canadian Pacific-Operated by the Canadian Pacific Railway, offering luxury rail tours in the Canadian Rockies on historic passenger cars which have been beautifully maintained and restored.
Seashore Trolley Museum-The world's oldest and largest collection of historic streetcars, interurban trains, and other transit equipment, from all over the world, located in Kennebunkport, ME.  Features include a restoration shop open to visitors, rides on historic equipment, and a "Be a Motorman" program.
Steamtown National Historic Site-One of the largest collections of historic steam locomotives in the world, Steamtown is dedicated to the preservation and operation of historic steam locomotives and features numerous exhibits for visitors including dozens of operating steam locomotives.  Steamtown is operated by the National Park Service.
Union Pacific Steam Program-Operates two steam locomotive on excursion service throughout the Union Pacific rail network.  Public displays, demonstrations, and photo opportunities are included in most excursions, and occasionally, excursions are open to the public to ride.

Passenger Carriers
Passenger train operators in the United States and Canada.  This is not a comprehensive list, and excludes tourist lines and museums.
Amtrak-The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, serving over 500 cities throughout the United States and in Canada.
Maryland Transit Authority-Operator of MARC commuter trains, and light rail, serving Washington, DC, and Baltimore, MD.
Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority-Operator of commuter rail, subways, light rail, buses, and ferries in the Greater Boston area.
Metra-Operator of Chicago area commuter trains.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority-Operator of commuter rail, subways, and buses in the New York area.  Includes the Long Island Rail Road and Metro-North Railroad.
New Jersey Transit-Operator of commuter rail, light rail, subways, and buses in New Jersey, primarily in the New York suburbs.
Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District-Operator of commuter trains serving Chicago on the South Shore Line.
Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority-Operator of commuter rail, light rail, subways, and buses in the Greater Philadelphia area, in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Utah Transit Authority-Operator of commuter rail, light rail, and buses in Salt Lake City, and Northern Utah.
Via Rail-Canadian national passenger rail system, serving Canada from coast to coast.
Virginia Railway Express-Operator of commuter trains serving the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC.
Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority-Operator of transit buses and subway in the Washington, DC, area.
Freight Carriers
Freight carriers in the United States and Canada.  This is not a comprehensive list.
BNSF Railway-Class I railroad operating in the Midwestern and western United States and part of Canada.
Canadian National-Class I railroad operating in Canada and Midwestern United States.
Canadian Pacific-Class I railroad operating in Canada and the Midwestern United States.  CP owns and operates the Royal Canadian Pacific luxury passenger trains, in addition to the freight trains they run.
CSX Transportation-Class I railroad operating in the eastern United States.
Kansas City Southern-Class I railroad operating in the Midwestern United States, Mexico, and Panama.
Norfolk Southern-Class I railroad operating in the eastern United States.
Union Pacific Railroad-Class I railroad operating in the Midwestern and western United States.
