So what we are going to do is, well, both. However, that calls for a pretty big post. So since it is kind of a two part thing, we will split it into two posts. We are not using Tuesdays or Thursdays for anything permanent yet (I've been using them to talk about my July adventure, but that is over now), so we will do it then. On Tuesday we will talk about the Amtrak train and what you'll see along the way and everything, and then on Thursday we will talk about the history of that same train, what railroad started it, what equipment it ran, how it changed over the years, and how it became what it is today. The same person will write both posts, and whoever is more familiar with the route will write the post.
As far as the website is concerned, keep your eyes out for another preview bubble appearing on the home page and a new section to the "Prototype Railroading" section. On the website, the two posts will be added as one article and there will be only one list with each week's articles together as one article. Just a reminder, the website is a great place to look for a past article that you can't find, and it is also a great place to just browse through articles we have written. They are sorted out by category.
Today is Tuesday, and I have to let you down. We are not posting one this week. We will start next week, with the beginning of September, so look for the new posts!
Just a reminder, here is an updated blog schedule.
Sunday: off day (extra posts will go up Sundays)
Monday: Modeling (product reviews, tutorials, etc.)
Tuesday: Amtrak route profile
Wednesday: Prototype posts (mostly James' stories from BNSF, but other prototype posts too)
Thursday: History of Tuesday's Amtrak train
Friday: Photo of the Week
Saturday: Slang
